Canadian Tire had sold paint the same way for decades and neither the brand nor the process was appealing to a younger target consumer. Too many choices and too much time wasted in store were alienating them.
Create a paint brand that would streamline the entire process of painting from purchase to execution, to make it easier and more relevant to younger DIYers.
Premier paint re-launched with a simplified selection, digital design tools and an entirely new brand identity. A new ‘’Ready to Roll” system was developed that included an exclusive, innovative format (pre-mixed designer colours in a plastic bag) and all-in-one kits.
